Valentine’s Day was truly special this year. Not only was I able to be with my Husband, but I published book #2. While it wasn’t a full length novel like Love Hurts, it was a story full of love and hope.
I’m currently working on book 2 in the Pure Sin Trilogy and in the midst of that, I managed to write another book. It was going to be a part of a Valentine Anthology, but when I submitted my story, it wasn’t up to par to make the publishing deadline.
Being told that sprung me into action to add to my story and publish it on my own. I added to the original and it came out beautifully. I know there are rules to writing, but I believe writing is about freedom of expression, so I don’t follow the traditional rules of storytelling. This allows me to tell the story that I want to tell and helps me stretch my imagination.
In addition to this, I’ve been receiving treatment for a wrist injury I sustained in December. My OT said that typing is actually good for my wrist, so I plan on getting as much writing done as possible. I don’t know what the outcome will be from this, but I won’t allow it to stifle my dreams of becoming a Best Selling Author. Until next time….
